What Game Do You Most Associate The PlayStation 2 With?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!The PlayStation 2 was the first console I had as a young teenager, and the first game I really fell in love with on it wasJak 2. It can be debated whether the first and third games are better than the second one, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this one in particular. A strong runner-up would beShadow of the Colossus, which was utterly jaw-dropping, especially for the time and the PS2 console generation.

What's Your Favorite Non-FromSoft Soulslike Game?
Many developers have tried to compete the legendary Soulsborne series, yet not all of them have come close to nailing FromSoft's formula. For me, Lies of P stands out as one of the best games in the subgenre — it's difficult yet fair, and it's managed to get plenty of things right, from the fluid and brutal combat, to the intricate level design.

Name a Game You Enjoyed Despite Its Reviews
I pre-orderedDays Gonebecause it was a survival game set in a zombie-riddled world, and the trailers looked great. I knew this game was right for me but when the reviews started coming out I got a little scared. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed, and despite a few rendering issues, it ran just fine on my PS4. I often go back to it and wish I could relive the first time I played it.

If You Could Only Play 3 PS Games For The Rest Of Your Life, What Would They Be?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!It's hard to choose just three from the enormous lineup of the bestPS exclusives of all time, but if I could only choose three to play for the rest of my life I'd have to make my choices based on their replayability, or at least my enjoyment of them in the long term. I'd personally choose:- Bloodborne- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2- Shadow of the ColossusI would probably get tired ofShadow of the Colossusafter a few times through, butTony Hawk's Pro Skater 2andBloodborneare timeless classics that I wouldn't mind replaying over and over.

What Games Did You Discover Through Your PS Plus Subscription?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!I've discovered and played a lot of games through my PS Plus subscription, but the one that stands out the most to me isMarvel's Midnight Suns. I'm not usually one for turn-based games, but I found the story to be intriguing, and I enjoyed the fact that it gave some screen time to some of the lesser known Marvel characters that we haven't seen in the MCU. Such an underrated game!I'd also credit PS Plus for me finding out aboutHorizon: Zero Dawn. A great game and absolutely cracking start to a great series.

Which PlayStation Classic Needs A Remake and Why?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!TheTwisted Metalseries is one of the most iconic PlayStation games of all time, but aside from the 2023 TV adaptation, we haven't seen a newTwisted Metalentry for more than 12 years. The over-the-top violence and fun driving mechanics comprised a simple but ridiculously fun concept that led to a lot of games in the late 90s and 2000s, but we haven't heard barely a peep since 2012. With all the leaps in technology since the PS3 era, a bombastic, modernized remake of the firstTwisted Metalgame could do wonders to reboot the series' popularity and make for a good competitor in the relatively sparse party racing genre.

Recently ported to PC,Ghost of Tsushimais a feast for the eyes in just about every scene – you don't even have to be a big fan of ancient Samurai aesthetics or classical Japanese artwork to appreciate how eye-catching the art direction is in this game.

What's The Most Underrated Game You've Played On PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!I'll sing its praises until the cows come home, butMad Maxis a criminally underrated title. I'd put it right up there withDays Goneas far as story and gameplay is concerned - I find that they're stylistically very similar, so if you likeDays Gone, you'll loveMad Maxtoo. Despite it being almost a decade old, I think it still holds up now, and I always try to give it another playthough when I have time.

Who is Your Go-To Super Smash Bros Character?
Super Smash Bros is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises, and the version on the Switch brought a ton of new characters to the lineup. Some players pick their go-to character based on their own favorite character (I always go with Zelda or Samus), while others pick their character based on who they think has the best moveset overall. No matter who your favorite is, you're bound to find someone else who loves them too!

What's the Best Racing Game You've Played?
Racing games offer so much variety that they basically have their own genres within themselves. Considering the likes of Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing fall under the same game category as racing simulators like F1 and Need For Speed, there's plenty of competition on the racetrack. When it comes to the real-life racers, it's hard to beat the classic Need For Speed: Underground 2.

What’s Your Earliest Memory of PlayStation?

I'll never forget having to write numbers on my memory cards with liquid ink to ensure I kept track of what was saved on where!

Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Hands down, the best racing experience I ever had on PlayStation wasNeed For Speed: Underground 2. Graphics might've improved since then, and the gameplay might be smoother, but nothing will top the range of game modes, customization and that absolutely banging soundtrackUndergound 2had! That was peak gaming for me when I was a kid.

What Were Your Thoughts on Venom: The Last Dance?
I watchedVenom: The Last Dancethis week and absolutely loved it. The characters were likable, the action scenes were epic - especially the one with all the symbiotes - and the jokes were funny most of the time, not cringe as I've experienced in some Marvel movies.I went in blind, which I've been doing lately whenever I go to the cinema, so I had no expectations for the movie. I knew the reviews hadn't been great but since I had liked every Venom movie so far, I never doubted I would enjoy myself for the third one. Venom: The Last Danceis a good time, which is exactly what you'd want from this kind of movie.
